Forssell admits Blues interest

Mikael Forssell concedes that he would consider a permanent switch to
Birmingham if he fails to break into the Chelsea first team.
The talented Finn is out for the season through injury but had been set
to spend the campaign at St Andrews.
Forssell proved a revelation for City in the previous season whilst on
loan from Chelsea and he admits that he would consider a permanent
switch once he regains fitness.
With Chelsea loaded with attacking talent, Forssell is well aware
that winning a place in Jose Mourinho's starting line-up will prove
difficult.
''If my future is not at Chelsea I would definitely consider coming
back to Birmingham,'' Forssell told the club's official website.
''Last season was excellent for me and I wanted this season to be as
good but because of the injury it didn't happen.
''But with Birmingham I know what I will get and I'm sure this is one
of the best clubs in the country so there is no question that I would
come back.
''You never know what is going to happen but Birmingham is definitely
an option if they want me.''
