Jose ready for new deal
by Alex Dunn - created on 9 Jan 2005
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is ready to sign an extension to his current
contract just six months into his deal at Stamford Bridge.
At the close of this season Mourinho will still have three years left on
his contract but is now ready to commit beyond that period.
The Portuguese chief has stolen the managerial plaudits this year after
guiding Chelsea to the Premiership summit.
Mourinho admits he loves life in West London and would be willing to ink a
new contract, if Blues owner Roman Abramovich is keen to retain his services.
''I will have three more years left at Chelsea in the summer - but if Roman
Abramovich offered me a new contract now I would sign it immediately,''
Mourinho told the Sunday Mirror.
''I love life at Chelsea. I am a manager here and not just a coach. This is
all I have aspired to be in my career, all I have ever wanted.''
The former Porto coach continued to reveal that his other major ambitions in
football were to manage the Portugal national side or alternatively, coach
one of Serie A's biggest clubs.
''In the future only two possibilities remain,'' he continued.
''Either to coach Portugal or to manage one of the top Italian sides.
''There is no league more challenging and more technically advanced than
Italian football and that is the challenge every coach should undertake at
some stage during his career.''

老大, 永遠待在Chelsea FC 怎麼樣?
可是, 這樣好像執教生涯就不夠精采
