Terry: Barry wouldn't listen
by Patrick Goss - created on 13 Jan 2005
"Did the decisions go against us? Maybe a little, but I don't want
to be caught up in having a go at the ref," said Terry. "But with most
referees nowadays I've found that being the captain means I can maybe
speak to them in the game.
"But last night [Barry] would not allow any of the Chelsea lads talk
to him. He was just ignoring us and as a player that's quite frustrating
because if you can't speak sensibly with the referee it's going to flare
up from there really."
