MOURINHO SCOUTS BARCA
Barcelona are the bookmakers' favourites to win the Champions League
so Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's claim that it will be impossible
to pick a danger man ahead of his team's meeting with the Spanish
giants this month will surprise no-one.
Mourinho returned to the Nou Camp, where he worked as a translator
and assistant for Bobby Robson and Louis van Gaal, to watch Barca
beat Real Sociedad on Sunday with a late Samuel Eto'o goal.
In addition to Cameroon sensation Eto'o, FIFA World Player of the
Year Ronaldinho and Ludovic Giuly - the attacking midfielder from
France who helped Monaco reach last year's Champions League final -
also played.
"This is going to be the toughest match there is," said Mourinho.
"They have quality players in every position, they are a very
dangerous side and we will have to be at our best."
Barcelona's victory over Sociedad, in which Eto'o also missed a
first-half penalty, kept them seven points clear at the top of
the Primera Liga.
