Jose Mourinho has been charged with a breach of The FA’s rules
concerning improper conduct.
The charge relates to comments made in a post-match interview
following Chelsea's Carling Cup semi-final first-leg match
against Manchester United on January 12th.
Chelsea acknowledges receipt of the charge and will respond in
the appropriate manner.
The FA has also issued the following statement on Friday afternoon:
“In relation to comments made by Chelsea defender John Terry
following this match, an explanation was provided by the player
and, having reviewed the content and context of these comments,
The FA has decided that it is not appropriate to take formal
disciplinary action in this case.”
