Chelsea agree partnership with adidas

Chelsea is delighted to announce that it has agreed a new kit sponsor
partnership with adidas. The deal will begin on July 1, 2006.

The main facts are:

- 8 year partnership

- Chelsea retain retail and non-team licensing rights

- circa ￡12m per year for Chelsea

- commitment to develop the Chelsea brand internationally


Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon said: “This partnership is great
news for Chelsea and we look forward to working with adidas, whose
vision we share.

“We believe a global partnership with adidas will be a huge step in
helping the club achieve its long term strategic goals. Together we
can become a formidable team.”

也難怪adidas會想和切爾西合作
