Cole can get much better - O'Leary
David O'Leary feels Carlton Cole has not got anywhere near to reaching his full
potential yet.
O'Leary hopes he can develop Cole during his loan spell at Villa and said: "He
is a young kid. That's why he is out here at Villa because they have the highs,
the ups and downs. He is learning his trade.
"Chelsea have the luxury of saying 'go on learn your trade and make your
mistakes at Villa' but that's the luxury they have.
"It is a good opportunity but you don't judge the boy on this. We do know
eventually he will be a talent but he is now a young talent.
"At times you don't need to be putting talent in and giving them a good run
because that's not the way. You nudge them on, bring them on for half an hour
or play them in a game and take them out.
"They have got to be a really exceptional talent to be playing game in and game
out because if they are not having a good time, and you are having to keep
playing them all the time, it can knock them back a great deal.
"In an ideal world you would dip them in and out. That's the way you look after
young talent."
恩....luxury -__-"
