Chelsea international action this week

Sixteen Chelsea players are in international action this week again leaving the
training ground an echo of its normal self. Joe Cole, however, has withdrawn
from the England squad with the virus that kept him out of the Fulham game on
Saturday.



Not every country has games, so people like Eidur Gudjohnsen and Alexey Smertin
have no call.



Tuesday

Damien Duff: Ireland v Croatia.

Nuno Morais and Filipe Oliveira: Luxembourg Under 21s v Portugal Under 21s.

Glen Johnson and on loan Carlton Cole: Spain Under 21s v England Under 21s.



Wednesday

Arjen Robben: Andorra v Holland.

Mateja Kezman: Belgium v Serbia & Montenegro.

William Gallas: France v Poland.

Robert Huth and Geremi: Germany v Cameroon.

Petr Cech: Macedonia v Czech Republic.

Paulo Ferreira, Ricardo Carvalho and Tiago: Luxembourg v Portugal.

Celestine Babayaro: SA v Nigeria

John Terry, Wayne Bridge, Frank Lampard and (Joe Cole): Spain v England.
