Mourinho’s refusal to get involved in touchline tantrums has helped his side move two points clear at the top of the Barclays Premiership. Now the Blues chief says other bosses should take a leaf out of his book and learn to control their emotions instead of harassing the game’s officials during matches. Mourinho was red-carded twice during his time in charge of Porto but now says he has learned to control his temper. The Chelsea boss believes that losing control on the sidelines can have a detrimental effect on the players and he is determined to keep his anger in check – whatever the provocation in the pressurised atmosphere of Premiership matches. Mourinho, who takes his side to Charlton tomorrow for another highly-charged London derby game, said: “I feel I am quite cool and especially in relation to referees and fourth officials. “I see other managers on my side of the technical area and I can tell you that I am an angel. “I don’t complain or communicate with them, I let them do their work. “What I feel and what I see is that some of them, instead of communicating with their players, try to press referees and fight the fourth official. “That’s what I feel a lot of times.I don’t do that.” Mourinho admits he has had to work on his anger management since becoming a top-flight coach but now feels it is completely under control after two red cards at Porto. He says: “I am getting better. I saw red cards – one in the UEFA Cup against Lazio and one in Porto against Benfica in my first Porto-Benfica game. No more than that. “I feel you have to try to control your emotions because if you don’t it is easy for your players to lose that control. I don’t find it hard to keep control. “Sometimes you see bad decisions but I try to understand them as part of the game. “For example, when we got a bad decision at Villa Park near the end of the game, it cost us two points and I was crazy. “But the referee apologised. We didn’t have the points but we had the feeling that the referee made a mistake and was an honest guy. So what can you do? “At half-time against Fulham, I told the referee that in my opinion, there was only one penalty. “But when I went home I saw two penalties. I try not to complain too much.” Only on rare occasions during a game has Mourinho been agitated enough wave his arms about in frustration with his side. But mostly those gestures are more to do with not being able to deliver his message as clearly as he would like. He added: “It depends on the game, sometimes I do not move. Sometimes my team does not need my help or sometimes I feel I can wait until half-time to give them some help and I am cool. “I just try to analyse the game. At other times, you feel you must communicate but that is very difficult in England because the crowd is noisy and the stadiums always full. When you cannot communicate, you get frustrated.” Mourinho has managed his squad superbly this season, rotating when necessary and not allowing injuries to Didier Drogba or Arjen Robben affect his planning. He believes that Arsenal and Manchester United, as well as Chelsea, have the personnel to overcome injury setbacks during the season. But the situation he fears most of all is the one which Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez now finds himself in. Benitez is without the services of the injured Djibril Cisse, Luis Garcia and Milan Baros and the thought of being without Eidur Gudjohnsen, Drogba and Mateja Kezman at the same time terrifies Mourinho. He adds: “Arsenal, Manchester United and us have big squads with answers to the bad things that can happen during the season. “But Liverpool are in a strange position. No Cisse, no Baros and no Garcia. That is three at the same time. “It is like us without Gudjohnsen, Kezman and Drogba at the same time. Or Arsenal without Henry, Bergkamp and van Persie at the same time. “That is incredible. I don’t want to be in Benitez’s position because it is very difficult. It is a crazy situation that you cannot solve. “Benitez cannot buy a player today to play tomorrow and he cannot make Neil Mellor a mature player in two days.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 其實我還是不太習慣叫他'穆帥'....直接叫他'天使穆'算了 (超沒霸氣XD) -- Right Now ha ha ha I am an antichrist I am an anarchist Dont know what I want But I know how to get it I wanna destroy the passer by Cause I wanna be Anarchy No dogs body ANARCHY IN THE UK I Wanna be Anarchy I Wanna be Anarchy Oh what a name I wanna be Anarchy Know what I mean And I wanna be an anarchist Get pissed Destroy SeX PisTOLs -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.168.34.37
