YOUNG BLUES HELP ENGLAND ON
Chelsea's England Under 17 internationals Michael Woods and Nana Ofori-Twumasi
were in action as their team made the semi-finals of the European Championships.
兩位小將在英格蘭國家隊U17擊敗荷蘭進入半決賽。
Midfielder Woods was a half-time substitute while defender Ofori-Twumasi
played the whole of Monday's 4-2 win over Holland in the final
group game of the Belgium-hosted tournament.
中場Woods下半場替補首次亮相，後衛Ofori-Twumasi打滿全場，終場以4-2擊敗荷蘭。
Woods came on with England 2-1 up but although the Dutch made it 2-2 just four
minutes after the interval, England rallied to restore the lead just ten
minutes later. They sealed the win in stoppage time in the 80 minute game.
Woods在英格蘭以2-1領先時替補上場，荷蘭隨即2-2追平，但下半場開始後4分鐘英格蘭
又取得領先優勢，第80分鐘就以4-2鎖定勝局。
A third Chelsea player in the squad, midfielder Tom Taiwo, remained on the
bench for the third successive game.
替補席上還有第三位藍軍小將，連續第三場溫板凳。
England now face France on Thursday for a place in the Final against either
Spain or the hosts. By reaching this far in the current tournament, England
have secured a place in the world championships in Korea later this month.
週四英格蘭將出戰法國爭取決賽資格，決賽另一方將是西班牙或者地主隊比利時的勝方。
由於英格蘭殺入半決賽，已確保拿到本月在韓國舉辦的World championships得資格。
