Drogba scores but suffers injury

There was a mixed start to the African Cup of Nations for Chelsea striker
Didier Drogba as he scored the Ivory Coast's winner but then left the game
injured.
Drogba was brought down for and scored a penalty in the 38th minute against
Morocco in Cairo. It was the only goal in the group stage encounter.
But a second-half injury saw him withdraw to midfield for a spell before
walking from the field in the 65th minute. If the problem needs anything but
a short recovery time, it will be a major concern to Ivory Coast who have
already suffered the withdrawal of their other principal striker, Aruna
Dindane, due to the death of his daughter.
Geremi begins his campaign later in the day as Cameroon take on Angola at
3-15pm GMT.
