Deco wants Lampard to stay
New signing hoping to win Champions League with Chelsea

Chelsea new boy Deco is hoping Frank Lampard stays at Stamford Bridge to help
the club win the UEFA Champions League.
Lampard is a target for Inter Milan, with the Italian champions' president
Massimo Moratti claiming the midfielder wants to move to Italy.
The Blues do not want to sell the 30-year-old and Deco is keen to play
alongside the England international in the coming season.

"Frank is a fantastic player I have played against many times," said Deco.
First-class attitude
"I have also seen him in training and he is a delight to watch because he works
very hard. He has a first-class attitude and I am looking forward to playing
with him.

"I want to play with him. I'm not sure he will stay, but it would be great if
he did and we can all play together. You need great players to win the
Champions League and he is a great player.
"The Champions League is certainly the trophy we most want to win because
Chelsea have been chasing it for a long time.

Big disaster
Portuguese playmaker Deco has joined Chelsea from Barcelona and is confident he
can make an impact in the Premier League.

His form over the past two seasons had been criticised by Barca president Joan
Laporta, but Deco does not believe his career is heading in the wrong direction.

He added: "We won many titles for two years and then it was a bit difficult. In
these situations, the blame is usually attached to the more important players.
