Mourinho hails Cudicini
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says Carlo Cudicini is "showing the great
goalkeeper he is" in the club's Carling Cup run.
Three of the four appearances the Italian has made this season have come
in the competition, in which Chelsea have reached the semi-finals where
they now meet Manchester United.
"It's important for all the players to feel that I trust them," he declared.
"Some people may think it's easy for a goalkeeper in the Carling Cup, but
maybe it's more difficult than a Premiership game as one mistake could put
you out.
"I normally don't like to speak about individuals but I have to say that
Carlo is fantastic."
