Chelsea's battling hero John Terry has given the club a boost with news that he
has come through his League Cup Final injury scare unscathed and is likely to
be included in the squad for Saturday's game away against Portsmouth.
切爾西的奮勇英雄特里經曆聯賽杯決賽受傷恐慌后，完整無損的回來激勵了球會的士氣，
同時他亦很可能列在週末聯賽作客對朴茨茅斯的名單當中。


The Chelsea Captain, who defied injury to appear in the Final, was accidentally
kicked on the head and knocked unconscious as he challenged for a header inside
the Arsenal box. For several seconds, there was panic amongst the other players
on the pitch as he lost consciousness and lay prostrate on the ground.
這位戰勝傷患於決賽上陣的切爾西隊長，在阿森納禁區之內嘗試挑戰頭球打門，卻被意外
地踢中頭部昏倒地上。曾經有數十秒，他毫無合覺臥在地上，令球場上其他球員都感到很
驚慌。


He was stretchered off in a neck-brace after a lengthy delay and taken directly
to hospital where, according to reports, he awoke, totally unaware of how he
got there.
經過冗長的延誤后，他(特里)載上頸部支架被擔架抬離球場並直接送往醫院。據報稱，他
醒來時完全不知道他怎麼到達那里(醫院)。


Terry had been a doubt for the Final after coming off injured in Chelsea's
midweek match against Porto on the Wednesday before the game. After
initially fearing a two-week lay off, the player was passed fit on
the eve of the Millennium Stadium Final.
特里自切爾西周中(星期三)對賽波爾圖傷出后，於(聯賽杯)決賽上陣一直成疑。當初預計
恐怕需要兩星期的休息，但這球員卻於決賽前夕通過體格測試。


Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, commenting on the incident, said, "This season
we have already had the situations with Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini and the
negative thoughts come directly to your mind."
切爾西主帥穆里尼奧對這事件的評論道：”今季我們已經有切赫和庫迪奇尼遭受過相同情
況，你的腦海很自然地會出現負面想法。”


He continued, "The first point is 'Is he safe? Is the man fine?' John's wife,
his little babies are here, so the most important thing is that the man is
safe."
他繼續說：”首要是"他安全嗎？他身體平安嗎？"約翰的妻子，還有他的小寶寶在這里，
所以最重要的事是他的安全”


Star man and scorer of both Chelsea's goals Didier Drogba said of Terry, "We
saw his character and this is why he is our Captain and why he is the best."
當晚之星(同時為切爾西打進兩顆入球)德羅巴談及特里：”我們了解他的個性，這亦是他
是我們的隊長同時亦是最好的原因。”
