Terry: Ref Halsey got it wrong

Robben, who now faces a domestic suspension, was ordered off after a wild
challenge on Jonathan Greening, but Terry claimed his team-mate had not been
wilfully malicious.

"The referee was saying it was a two-footed tackle but he didn't touch the man
at all," said Terry.

After a uneventful opening 45 minutes, the second half began controversially
when Chelsea came out late.

Terry insisted the Blues had been receiving a dressing down from boss Jose
Mourinho.

"We had a long teamtalk. We got a bit of a telling-off at half-time, it was
what we needed," he added.

The victory nudged Chelsea even closer to their second consecutive Premiership
title and came in a week which saw the club in mourning for Peter Osgood.


The 59-year-old Chelsea legend collapsed and died on Wednesday and Terry added:
"Our fans were fantastic, singing Peter Osgood's name, and we'd like to
dedicate that win to him. He was a great man."

Chelsea now look ahead to Tuesday's Champions League rematch against Barcelona,
going into the second leg on the last-16 clash at the Nou Camp trailing by 2-1.

"It's going to be a very tough game," Terry said. "We go there with our heads
held high and full of confidence."
