一個是英倫最年輕的心臟移植者(出生只有10天)，現年16歲的巴特
另一個是歐洲接受心臟手術後活最久的 Morris，已經有25年了

Joe spends time off celebrating Harefield Hospital

It has been morning and afternoon training since Wednesday of last
week, but on Sunday afternoon the players got half a day off and Joe Cole
spent his free time attending a transplant party at Harefield Hospital.
The pioneering transplant hospital was celebrating 25 years of heart
transplants. Joe was a celebrity guest of honour and is photographed with
Hamzah Butt, now 16, Britain’s youngest heart transplant patient when he
was ten days old, and Derrick Morris, Europe’s longest surviving heart
transplant patient — he had his operation 25 years ago.
Joe said: “These people are the real heroes — the doctors and
nurses working at Harefield and the patients battling through their
illnesses. I take my hat off to them.”
The next time Joe had off was not real time, Wednesday morning
before Wednesday evening’s game at Wycombe. Similarly, Thursday morning
was off for recovery from that game.
Today, Friday, the players train just in the morning, and tomorrow
they train and then fly to Lisbon where on Sunday evening they play
Benfica.
