FRIENDS REUNITED IN FA CUP

In a big London derby such as the one between Chelsea and Spurs on Sunday -
you'd expect some old rivalries and friendships revisited.
在一場如週日切爾西對陣熱刺的重要的倫敦德比戰中，你應該期待一些老對手和老朋

In keeping with modern top level football, this weekend's clash will see
acquaintances first formed from far and wide together again on the pitch.
For a start there is the Ivory tower at the centre of the Chelsea attack
and his international colleague in the centre of the Spurs midfield.

The two Didiers, Drogba and Zokora (the latter pictured challenging
Michael Ballack), have taken to the field many a time together for their
country.

'We speak once a week and he is our best midfielder for Ivory Coast,'
reckons Drogba. 'Manchester United and other big teams were interested to
sign him because he is a very good player and I think he has got a good
future. To come to the Premiership this season, that was his ambition and
he is the kind of man who says he would like go somewhere, he comes and he
does well.

'I think he is already doing well and for me it is just a question of
time - like it was for Michael Essien. Next season I think will be better
for him. He is aggressive, he can put pace in the game and his technique
is fantastic. But he can't score goals!' Drogba says, laughing out loud.
“我認為他已然非常出色了，對我來說這只是時間問題 — 就像埃辛一樣。下賽季我

The same cannot be said for the Chelsea man, however in Chelsea v Spurs
meetings so far, it is 1-0 to Zokora after our November defeat at White
Hart Lane.

'That game he was ready to win but I think because we are playing at home,
I want to show him what playing at Stamford Bridge is like,' warns Drogba.

Yet to play together on the full international stage but team-mates for
three years at Le Havre were Lassana Diarra and Tottenham right-back
Pascal Chimbonda.

'Yes he is a friend of mine,' confirms Chelsea's newest first-team
regular. 'He is a good player, technical, quick, a good crosser and a good
man. If I play on Sunday, it will be the first time we play against each
other. I speak with him a few times but I don't speak with him about this
game.

'And no, he hasn't given me any tips on how to play at right-back,' Diarra
laughs.

A more heavyweight clash comes in the shape of Michael Ballack and Spurs
top scorer Dimitar Berbatov. Ballack and the Bulgarian have been both
team-mates and Bundesliga rivals.

'I played with him at Leverkusen and I know he is a good player,' the
Chelsea midfielder says. 'He has a good time now at Tottenham and he has
scored a lot of goals. I think the Tottenham fans love him.'

One player the Spurs supporters certainly don't love is Frank Lampard
after many years of rivalry and many successes against them both for
Chelsea and West Ham.

'We will have to start Sunday's game better than we did against Porto,'
the stand-in skipper warns. 'It will be another battle, a great atmosphere
and we will have to approach it in the right manner. Tottenham are in good
form and quarter-finals are always great levellers, so it is about who
performs on the day.'
副隊長說：“在週日的比賽中，我們應該打出比與波爾圖比賽更好的開局。這將是另
