As they disappeared down the tunnel at St Mary's at full-time, Harry Redknapp
threw an arm around the shoulders of the Chelsea coach and, for a moment, all
the studied aloofness and proud resistance that has characterised Mourinho
melted away. With the Champions' League quarter-final first leg against
Bayern Munich on Wednesday, his touchline ban and the tensions within Chelsea,
life is about to get even more fraught for Mourinho so, for once, it was
refreshing to see him making friends.
這記者寫的好像老大在英超沒朋友似的, 哼, 老大和Redkanapp勾肩撘背的畫面真的有趣
"Carvalho is a fantastic player but he's only 6ft and I was looking for Crouch
to be playing on to him all game but he brought in Huth who is 6ft 4in,"
Redknapp said. "That was a clever move. I saw Mourinho before the game and I
like him very much. He's a good guy. He's got something about him. He said
'I hope you win your championship and I hope we win ours'. We've got to make
sure we win ours."
Redknapp 說老大是好人, 他很喜歡他, 並希望我們獲得英超冠軍.
"I knew Frank was always going to be a top player because of his attitude and
the way he worked at his game but I didn't know how good he would become,"
Redknapp said. "I've never seen anybody work so hard on the training ground
as Frank - except for his dad. His dad has instilled that in him. I get real
pleasure out of seeing him play because I've seen him grow up since
he was a baby."

JOSE MOURINHO, THE CHELSEA manager, may be out of favour with the football
authorities both at home and abroad, but he can be satisfied that he has
the respect of his peers. Most of his fellow managers usually seem to find
something positive to say about him, and Harry Redknapp was no exception on
Saturday evening, even after Mourinho’s Chelsea had made life more uncomfortable
for his Southampton side with a 3-1 victory.
Redknapp thinks they will. “They've got a big chance, a great chance,”
he said. “It's going to be difficult to beat them. Having said that, it
won't be a walkover because Bayern Munich were terrific against Arsenal at
Highbury, very solid. So it will be a tough game.”
“I think the ban he's got is a bit harsh,” Redknapp said. “I would think
the players know him well enough to know what he wants and for him to get
his message through somehow but I still think they like to see him there. They
feel more confident if he’s there because they know he can put things right
that are going wrong.
Redknapp覺得老大被禁賽兩場也些嚴厲, 有他在旁,球員會更有信心,
且老大會即時指正他們的錯誤和提供關鍵的訊息.
"No disrespect, but they haven't got anybody else who is very vocal. He's
a bit of a one-man band, isn't he? He's the front guy, the main man. If he's
not there, I'm sure they will miss him. But I don't think that could cost
them against Bayern. It will be a tight one, but I still think they're good
enough to go through and I'd love to see them win it. I'd love to see an
English team win it and they've got a few English players in their team, which
is nice as well.”
球員會想念他在場邊大吼大叫, 但他們不會因此付出代價.
