Mourinho Could Add Drogba

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted he may still step up his bid to sign
striker Didier Drogba, despite the arrival of Mateja Kezman.

Kezman completed his move to Stamford Bridge from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven on
Monday after being granted a work permit

The 25-year-old Serbian bolsters Chelsea's strikeforce, which already boasted
Eidur Gudjohnsen, Adrian Mutu and Hernan Crespo.

But Mourinho insists he is still interested in signing Marseille striker Drogba
although any possible move would hinge on Crespo.

The Portuguese coach was unimpressed by Crespo's late arrival for pre-season
training and wants the Argentine striker to be fully committed to the club
before the Blues set off for their US Tour on July 21.

Mourinho suggested Drogba would be a worthy replacement if Crespo's response
was negative.

As for Crespo, Mourinho said: "I didn't understand why he (Crespo) was arriving
late (for training). He was making excuses. But everything is okay with him now.

"I want to go to the US with my squad decided," he said. "The only doubt is
whether Crespo stays or is leaving. If Crespo is leaving we will buy another
striker.

走.我們就要補個射手"


"It is up to him (Crespo). I don't want players who are not 100% ready to stay.
If he has 1% of doubt I don't want him to stay."

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his final line-up of attacking players,
Mourinho is confident Chelsea will have plenty of firepower up front this
season.

He said: "I like Kezman because he is a team player. He has the motivation to
come to the top league in the world and that, along with his scoring record,
makes him a good player for me.
