Jose Mourinho has laughed off suggestions that he could lead Chelsea to a
Premiership and UEFA Champions League double in his first season in England.


Chelsea have drawn level on points with Arsenal at the top of the Premiership
and need just a draw against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday to qualify for the knockout
stages of the Champions League.


However, Mourinho believes winning the two major trophies in the same season is
almost impossible for an English club to achieve in the current climate.


He said: "I think it is harder in England because the two seasons are different.
In the two seasons in Porto when we won the championship twice, the UEFA Cup
and the Champions League, it was quite easy to win the league.


"In the early stages of the league in Portugal, we got big distances in front.
When you lead the championship with ten, 12 or 14 points difference, you can
rotate a lot of players and protect them.


"You can then use them at the highest level in the Champions League. In England
it is different because everyone can take points from of the big teams. It is
more complicated.


"The signals in the Premiership at the moment are that there will be a big
fight for the title.


"I would say until the end of the season there will be a question mark over who
will win it.


"But I still feel Arsenal are a team with years of work and still at a higher
level than we are. I have not changed my mind yet.


"Man United won both a few seasons ago but it is really difficult and happens
once in a lifetime.


"Winning two trophies in a season has happened to me twice in the last two years,
so I don't think there will be the third consecutive success."
