Jose Mourinho has gone on the offensive on Friday afternoon, querying
what he believes to be an unfair allocation of fixture dates.

Faced with a group of reporters who were expecting to question the
Chelsea manager on various subjects, Mourinho turned the tables and
said:

“It is my turn to ask a question and maybe you can help me. I have
been here for six or seven months so I am still new and there are a
few things I don’t understand well. Maybe you can explain to me a
few things.

“One of the things I don’t understand is who is controlling the
matches on television and who decides which game is on Saturday,

“Who decides which game is on Boxing Day, which game is the next day,
which on January 1st and which game on January 2nd? Because I cannot
understand why it is always the same team with the difficult task.

誰決定哪場比賽在結禮日舉行,或是結禮日隔天,哪場比賽要在元旦,或是2月2日?
因為我不瞭解為什麼總是同一隊接受艱難的任務.

“Somebody is in charge, somebody is controlling, somebody is deciding
and somebody is always giving us the difficult task”

某人指示者,某人控制著,某人決定著,還有某人總是給我們艱困的考驗.

The Chelsea manager proceeded to explain his point in more depth.

“In the Christmas period we played on 26th, 28th, 1st and 4th. Other
teams competing with us for the same objectives, they had more time to
rest.

“Now in the international week, I’d like somebody to explain to me why
next Wednesday the national teams are playing and after that Chelsea play
Saturday, Man United play Sunday without having to travel from Manchester
and Arsenal play on Monday.

“Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and all of these guys have to play on

play Wednesday and they have to play Saturday. Why always the same team
with the difficult task?

“Who decides because I don’t know?” he continued to ask the reporters.
“I am new here and I make mistakes but I also make questions. The same
way you criticise my mistakes, I’d like you to give me an answer.

“I ask my club and my club was not able to give me an answer that makes
me happy. I also want to play on Monday, I don’t want to go to Everton
on Saturday.

望週六作客艾弗頓.

“Is Chelsea versus Everton a more important game that has to be on
Saturday at 12-45? More important than Villa versus Arsenal or Man City
versus Man United? What is the criteria?”

是因為切爾西對艾弗頓是一場非常重要的比賽,所以非得在週六的中午12點45分比呢?
難道會比維拉對阿森納或是曼城對曼聯重要嗎?這有什麼依據嗎?

Mourinho concluded by revealing that after concern over the issue for
some time, it was a Friday morning glance over the fixtures for next
weekend that had proved the final straw.

“Now I need answers,” was his final demand.

現在 我需要一個明確的答案
