Ranieri has guided The Blues to second in the Premiership table and also into the last eight of the UEFA Champions League this season. However, his achievements have not been enough to stop speculation that he could be pushed out in favour of current England boss Sven Goran Eriksson during the summer. Now captain Terry wants Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and chief- executive Peter Kenyon to show their support for the under-fire manager and put an end to the rumours. "Claudio has been great to Chelsea and it wouldn't hurt for Chelsea to come out and support him," stated the England international. "Hopefully they'll do so soon so everyone can just concentrate on their football. We're all frustrated with the speculation. "We work with him everyday and we see the hard work he puts in. Claudio has been brilliant and it just goes to show how much the lads think of him , everyone's 100 percent behind him." Terry is adamant that Ranieri is the right man to steer the club to success and hopes he will be given time to prove his worth at Stamford Bridge. The centre back believes success in Europe would put an end to rumours of a managerial change and is targeting Champions League glory, despite their poor showing against Stuttgart on Tuesday night. "We want to come back to Claudio's pre-season," he explained. "Winning the Champions League would make it impossible for him to be sacked and everyone in the dressing room is going to try their hardest to do so. "It is a great achievement to get to the last eight. Now it's time for us to kick on and go even further." Meanwhile, reports from Italy suggest Serie A giants Internazionale and Milan are targeting Chelsea keeper Carlo Cudicini. The shot-stopper has become a key player for The Blues in recent years and his form has attracted interest from his homeland.
