RANIERI ADMITS NO WIN SCENARIO

Claudio Ranieri has admitted he is in a no win scenario at Chelsea,
fearing he would lose his job this summer regardless of the team's level of
success on the pitch.
The Italian concedes that even if his side had cleaned up this term he
could still be out of work following Roman Abramovich's takeover at the club.
The Russian billionaire assumed control of the side last July and Ranieri
had fears following the change of ownership right from the start.
"Right from the very beginning, from the first of July, I have known that
even if I won everything this season I could still be going home in the
summer," explained the Italian.
"That will not be a surprise for me."
England coach Sven Goran Eriksson was linked with the Blues post after
being spotted going to the oil tycoon's home, but Ranieri simply got on with
his job.
Ranieri chose to ignore the rumours regarding the Swede, who is currently
being linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
"None of this is new to me. I first heard the rumours on July 3," he
added.
"There is nothing I can do about them, but continue in my job. A manager
in my position must continue to work and not listen to anything else."
