For the first time in our history, Chelsea supplied five players to the
England team in the second-half against Denmark this Sunday.
John Terry, Frank Lampard and Joe Cole were in the starting line-up with
Joe scoring England’s second to put the home side 2-1 up.
Glen Johnson came on for his full international debut early in the half w
hen Gary Neville was injured. At half-time Wayne Bridge replaced Ashley Cole.
Towards the end Joe Cole went off with a hamstring strain.

Jesper Gronkjaer played most of the game for Denmark and was arguably
their most penetrating player. He was involved in their first equaliser.
Denmark won 3-2.
