Bruce to scrap Forssell loan deal

Birmingham manager Steve Bruce has confirmed his club will scrap the loan
capture of injured Chelsea striker Mikael Forssell in December.
Finland international Forssell will miss the rest of the season after knee
surgery last week.
His season long loan from Chelsea was due to be reviewed in December.
But now that he cannot play again this season, Birmingham will formally sever
the link.
Bruce said: "Chelsea and ourselves put that break in at Christmas time just in
case Chelsea wanted to take him.
"I would not have thought that we would extend his loan deal.
"We could not see any point in it because we hear that he can't play again
until next April so his season is effectively finished."
