Juan Sebastian Veron has spoken on Chelsea TV to Neil Barnett about
some of the goals he has been involved in this season. Here is a
part of their conversation.

V: I may have been responsible for setting up some goals but I am
also hoping that as well as playing the passes and setting up
moves that I will be able to score a few myself too.

Q: At Liverpool you played at the front of a five-man midfield. How
good a goal was that because so many of the team were involved?

V: It was a good goal from a nice move but I don't think that
that one was the only nice team goal we've scored in these
opening games. Most goals that we've got this season have been
good goals.

Q: The winning goal at Liverpool again started at our penalty area

of your good moves start in the centre.

V: We do our best to try and play how the manager tells us to
which is to play well by passing and moving a lot. It's simply
the best way to score goals and win matches.

Q: Against Leicester we took the lead with an own goal. Your
free-kicks from wide and your corners - how much do you practice
them?

V: I do spend time in training and always have practicing my
delivery but there are plenty of us who do it well. We've

fed Adrian.

V: Yeah that was another nice goal, it was all first-time touches
and fast and quick and leaving the defence with little time. It
came right the way up the pitch through midfield and fortunately
ended up with a great goal.
