BLUES STAR WON'T RISK CAREER

Juan Sebastian Veron has been ruled out for the rest of the season after he
confirmed he would not put his career at risk in coming back too early.
The Argentine star underwent back surgery last month, but was expected to be
back just in time to make the last few weeks of the season.
However, Veron has now admitted that his bad luck is continuing.
The Argentine has played just 11 times since joining Chelsea from Manchester
United in a ￡15 million deal last summer.
Speaking from Argentina, Veron confirmed that he would not be making a quick
return.
"I feel I've had a lot of bad luck since I came to England," Veron told The
Mirror.
"Maybe I am cursed.
"It's very hard for me to take, but I must not risk my career."
