http://tinyurl.com/64k2a 每日郵報 'Batman' - Robben's the Boy Wonder 16:02pm 3rd November 2004 Mateja Kezman today hailed Chelsea team-mate Arjen Robben as one of Europe's leading players after his matchwinning performance in Moscow. Robben's goal in the 23rd minute sealed another cool Champions League performance in the chilly Russian capital . The Dutchman, who played alongside Serbian striker Kezman at PSV Eindhoven, guided Chelsea into the knockout stages of the Europe's premier competition as Jose Mourinho's side earned their fourth straight win to top group H. Robben has been in superb form since he returned to action following a pre-season ankle injury and was the star of the show again as he completed his first full game for the club. He cleverly linked up with Damien Duff and Eidur Gudjohnsen to create the opening for his winning goal and then put Gudjohnsen in the clear for what should have have been the second later in the first half. The Icelandic striker spurned the chance but Robben's delightful through-ball clearly showed there is more to the winger's game than merely beating opponents and scoring. Now Robben has been dubbed one of the best on the European stage by his former PSV pal following his latest performance. Kezman said: "Arjen had a fantastic game and it was a very important goal for him as it's his first for Chelsea. "He's just 20 years old and has a fantastic future but it's important to get a good start. We know each other very well and it's great for Chelsea that he's fit. "He's dangerous with every touch of the ball and no opponent can keep him away from the goal whether it's a free-kick, an assist or a goal. "He's one of the best players in Europe at the moment. He's strong, quick and has two good feet, which means he can go inside or outside the opponent. "He has everything that a top player needs and he can beat players with one touch of the ball. "Chelsea must hope that he stays fit(這句話是什麼意思 !!). Everything seems very easy to him but he works very hard. The best thing about him is his mentality, he's always the last person to leave the training ground." Robben believes he is getting stronger with every game and is clearly happy with his decision to snub Manchester United's interest and join Chelsea instead. He said: "It has been very difficult while I was out, especially the first two-and-a-half months. You come to a new club and you want to play for them. So it was tough. "But it was my first 90 minutes against Moscow since I got injured and I am now feeling stronger and stronger. I am getting into the rhythm it was important to score my first goal for the club. "It is difficult to compare our performances in the Premiership to those in the Champions League because of the different opponents. In the Champions League we are perfect. "We are improving in the Premiership as well because in the last two games we have scored four goals and that is good for our confidence. I think we can only grow." 羅本狀態真的不錯...凱子猴你還得多加油啦..雖然已經進開季後第一球 但是英超和歐冠還是...... -- ocmcocmcocmk**no surprises. k**no surprises. a heart thats full up like a land fill. a job that slowly kills you. bruises that wont heal. you look so tried_nhappy. bring down the government. they dont. theydontspeak for us. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.32.104.10
