Robben breaks confirmed

Arjen Robben has two broken bones in his foot which were finally
found on a scan yesterday, Monday.

Physio Mike Banks said: “One is a chip on the side of his foot,
the other is a small break on the third metatarsal. But this is
not the traditional metatarsal that has become so famous since
the last World Cup and which has kept Scott Parker out for two
months, the fractures are tiny and he could be playing next month.”

Robben suffered the injury early in the game at Blackburn last
Wednesday soon after opening the scoring. He was cut down by
Aaron Mokoena but no foul was whistled. He missed the opening
of the season after being fouled by Roma’s Olivier Dacourt and
suffering a broken bone in his other foot.
