England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has announced that Shaun
Wright-Phillips has pulled out of the England squad with a swollen knee,
but four England players start internationals this week and a fifth has
been called into his squad for the first time.

John Terry, Frank Lampard and Joe Cole are all expected to start
tomorrow evening’s full international in Denmark after Eriksson said he
will name his strongest team at the beginning.

Carlton Cole is centre-forward for England Under 21s tonight,
Tuesday, also in Denmark. The team is:
Carson (Liverpool); Hunt (Bolton), Dawson (Tottenham),
Davenport (Tottenham), Ridgewell (Aston Villa); Milner (Newcastle),
Reo-Coker (West Ham) (c), Richardson (Man Utd), Downing (Middlesbrough);
Cole (Chelsea), Ashton (Norwich).

England Under 17s again host the Pepsi Tournament this year — last
year they were captained by Chelsea’s Michael Mancienne and won it —
and they have called up first year scholar Jack Cork. Jack can play
either central defence or in midfield, and was a regular in our youth
team last season as a schoolboy. He is the son of former Wimbledon legend
Alan Cork.
