Gudjohnsen scoops award

Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen has been named Icelandic Footballer of the
Year.
It is the second year in succession that the Blues striker has picked up the
honour and he was in his homeland on Tuesday to collect the award.
Gudjohnsen held off competition from Charlton defender Hermann Hreidarsson to
scoop the honour.
Third place went to Halmstads' Gunnar Heidar Thorvaldsson - a target for
several Premiership clubs.
