Another Open Day jamboreee for fans

Over 2,500 Chelsea fans attended the third Open Day at Stamford
Bridge today, Tuesday, and were able to see Asier del Horno, Shaun
Wright-Phillips and Lassana Diarra in action on home turf for the first
time.
It was no exhibition session, but a high-tempo series of exercises,
and everyone in the first team squad was able to take part because no-one
is injured.
The full session lasted over 90 minutes with a series of possession
games followed by a regular one, all finished off with a fitness and
shooting session.
There were two groups in the stretching and fitness work, those who
played 90 minutes at Cardiff on Sunday and the rest, with those who
played 90 minutes obviously doing less. But Frank Lampard strayed over to
those doing the full session before the end. He just loves his work.
The fans were all able to collect a signed celebration photograph
from the Championship presentation Charlton game, and at the end of the
session the players went over to the West Stand where the fans were and
kicked balls to them.
Late in the afternoon there were still a few players hanging around
the ground signing autographs.
