this year. We would need, say, Arjen Robben, John Obi Mikel and Shaun Wright-
Phillips to score (likely, although Wright-Phillips has yet to net for Chelsea
), along with Paulo Ferreira, Khalid Boulahrouz, Ashley Cole and Wayne Bridge
(all four is definitely unlikely!)

Is Michael Essien unstoppable? Three West Ham players were booked in a six
minutes period on Saturday for fouling him. It was the period during which he
also hit the post.

But Mourinho was also thinking about the coming midweek game at Werder Bremen
when Frank Lampard is suspended.
