WELCOME AWAITS IN-FORM INCE

Both Jose Mourinho and Shaun Wright-Phillips have been talking about Paul
Ince ahead of Saturday afternoon's FA Cup tie. One knows the Macclesfield
manager considerably better than the other.

For Wright-Phillips, Ince has been on the scene for a good 13 years.
Mourinho's knowledge comes more from watching the former England
international in his pomp.
'I don't know him well personally, I have just shaken his hand a couple of
times,' the manager has told Chelsea TV, 'but when you remember him as a
player, you can feel his character and personality.'

'So it doesn't surprise me that he brings that type of personality to his
new job. He is a leader, he is a fighter. They are a team with confidence
after four victories in a row.

'As a player he was afraid of nothing, so I can guess he will not be
afraid for his team to play at Stamford Bridge.'

Ince has turned the Silkmen's form on its head since taking control in
October. From a run of 17 games without a win, they have now dislodged
themselves from their previously marooned position at the foot of the
Football League.

Current form is seven wins and a draw in all competitions and
Wright-Phillips too is not surprised.

'Everyone knows what Paul Ince has done in his playing career,' he said,
speaking to chelseafc.com. 'They used to call him The Guv'nor and now he
has taken it to the management side of things.
"大家都知道因斯的威能，他們稱他為 The Guv'nor。" 小賴特也稱讚道。
'Him and my dad are really good friends. I've known him since I was about
11 or 12 and I will be speaking to him on the day and seeing how he is. It
will be nice to get one over on one of my dad's friends.'
"他跟我老爸是好朋友，我12歲就認識他了，比賽日我要去找他聊天。"
Ian Wright, who was Ince's former colleague in the England national squad,
has even been involved in some coaching and motivational work with the
Macclesfield squad.
伊恩˙賴特和因斯是英格蘭國家隊同事，前者也參與 Macclesfield 的教練事務。
'I think he still does it a couple of days a week and he really enjoys it,'
reckons Wright-Phillips. 'But my dad is not around tomorrow. I think he
will be supporting both teams. I think he will be going for the draw!'

The Chelsea winger has tasted defeat to a lower league side in the FA Cup
third round, back in his Man City days. Two seasons ago they lost to
Oldham who, then as now, were in League One.

'I know what the feeling is like and it is not nice. But the possible is
possible and we have to make it not possible.
"那滋味可不好受，因此我們要小心提防。"
'Regardless of what league Macclesfield are in, they are going to make it
difficult for us at the Bridge. I don't believe they will come here trying
to get a draw either. I think they will come believing they can win. So we
have to have the right attitude who ever is in the team.'
"我想馬隊應該會盡全力求勝。"
The options over who will makes the line-up are limited according to
Mourinho.
最後老大談到人員問題。
'The team can be a bit weak but it will not be a bit weak because I risk
or gamble or because I want to leave people out and give chances to other
people.
"我們的隊伍可能會稍弱，因為要讓一些球員休息。"
'We are going to play with the best team we have but the players we have
are the only players with the condition to play. I am happy it is the FA
Cup and Macclesfield and not the Premier League because we are going to
have to play with the players we have and the players we have are not a
lot at the moment.'
"還好我們沒抽到英超球隊，畢竟現在人員的選擇不多。"

Match Countdown on Chelsea TV from 6.30pm.
