It's an all-Premiership Carling Cup draw

Chelsea have been drawn at home against Aston Villa in the fourth round of
the Carling Cup.
The tie was drawn soon after the win at Blackburn on Wednesday night and
pairs us with the club who knocked us out of the competition three years
ago, during the last season under Claudio Ranieri. That game was at Villa
Park.
Chelsea were more successful in 1998, winning a League Cup tie 4-1 at the
Bridge on the occasion of John Terry's debut.
The one other meeting in the competition was back in 1965 when we won a
semi-final against Villa over two legs on the way to winning the
competition. Martin O'Neill's side left Stamford Bridge with a draw in the
Premiership at the end of last month.
The latest tie will be played the week beginning November 6th. The exact
date and ticket news will be announced soon.
