Robben and Mutu to miss Milan game

Arjen Robben and Adrian Mutu are being rested for Monday’s game with AC Milan,
our final match of the ChampionsWorld Series Tour, because of injury.
Robben has a stiff foot following Olivier Dacourt’s challenge against Roma
last Thursday, but thankfully an x-ray has revealed there is no serious damage.
Mutu has a groin strain which requires resting. Both are working hard on
rehabilitation in Philadelphia.
For the fit there was another double training session on Saturday in bright
sunshine, the temperate soaring to 37 degrees centigrade, 90 degrees
fahrenheit in the afternoon. On Sunday morning it’s been torrential rain,
but the players have time off and will train at the stadium where the game is
being played this afternoon.
The state-of-the-art Lincoln Financial Field ground, home of Philadelphia Eagles,
is just one year old and has a capacity of 68,532.
