Chris Coleman speaking ahead of the Chelsea match (節選談切爾西段落)
ON THE MOOD IN THE CAMP...
"It's good. Obviously everybody is happy because we've had four wins on the
bounce. We're playing Chelsea, it's a great game to be involved in, especialy
when you're playing with a bit of confidence. So we're looking forward to it."
ON CHELSEA...
"It's going to be a tough task of course, they're a top team, but we'll be
going in to it with plenty of confidence. You need to do that because when
you play a team like Chelsea without that then you'll be going in to the game
a little bit naively and you're going to get beat, simple as that. But if we
can beat Chelsea tomorrow then it'll be a great achievement for us. We're
looking forward to it.
"Chelsea are top of the League of course, I have watched them on more than
the odd occasion this season and they've been criticised for some reason for
only winning 1-0. I wouldn't mind having that criticism, that's for sure. I
think the way they play shows why they've only conceded three goals, because
they've always got the ball, they never give it away.
"Of course they are good defenders but if they've always got the ball the
opposition can't score. So it'll be difficult, of all the times we've
played Chelsea, this is the best team tomorrow we've ever had to face them.
So it is do-able and if we play like we know we can then we've got a chance."
ON JOSE MOURINHO...
"I don't think he cares what people think of him. Some people call it
arrogance, but I call it confidence. He's just won the Champions League
and the League with Porto and I think he is great for the game. He speaks
from the heart, he is a serious man in terms of his football and he is hugely
confident and you can see that that's rubbed off on the players."
