Drogba set to return
Striker Didier Drogba, who missed the goalless draw against Manchester
City with a thigh strain, should be fit to face Everton on Saturday.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is still without Arjen Robben.
Robben misses out after being diagnosed with two broken bones in his
foot earlier this week. He is expected to be sidelined for up to eight
weeks.
Robert Huth is another long-term absentee as he sprained knee ligaments
during the win over Birmingham in the FA Cup fourth round.
Scott Parker is still out with a broken foot but defender Ricardo Carvalho
is back in training and building up his fitness levels.
However, it is unlikely he will be fit enough to be included in the
squad for the trip to Merseyside.
Chelsea (from): Cech, Cudicini, Johnson, Ferreira, Gallas, Terry, Lampard,
Smertin, Jarosik, Cole, Geremi, Tiago, Kezman, Gudjohnsen, Drogba, Duff,
Makelele, Bridge.
