Steve Clarke held the UEFA pre-match press conference at Porto’s stadium with
Mateja Kezman this evening, Monday, and promised no more than four changes for
tomorrow’s game.

克拉克大叔帶小猴舉行歐冠賽前的例行記者會.並保證最多只做出4個的人員調整.

“Because of how we’ve done we can afford to change the team from Saturday
which was a very tough game against Newcastle,” he said, “but it will be the
same as against Paris St-Germain and in the Carling Cup. We won’t be making 11
changes, just three or four at most.”

He spoke about the issues of security plus suggestions from Porto that Chelsea
is a not a big club by saying: “We think we’re a big club. We want to win
this competition, the Champions League, and we want to win the Premiership.”

Then he added pointedly: “But there are more things to being a big club,” and
listed amongst them welcoming back old boys who had been successful.

Kezman said he had watched all the weekend’s goals including his own on
television as he always does and emphasised that he is desperate to play as
normal.

He is on two bookings at present and another one would mean a one match
suspension.

Clarke felt that despite Porto needing a win more than Chelsea, the Londoners
are favourites. “It’ll be close, but if you look at our points you’d have to
say we are slight favourites. The outcome of the group won’t be decided by the
other teams’ points against us, but their points against each other.”

game, although he officiated Russia’s and Alexey Smertin’s 4-0 win over
Estonia, and Iceland’s and Eidur Gudjohnsen’s (who scored) 4-1 home defeat by
Sweden.
