UEFA spitting follow-up

UEFA has confirmed it will look into an incident that took place before
Chelsea’s Champions League victory last night when a Porto supporter spat at
Jose Mourinho.
The isolated episode took place in the pre-match players’ warm-up during which
the Chelsea manager had signed autographs and shaking hands with many other
Porto fans. It was spotted by Chelsea’s security procedures and the man
involved was ejected from the stadium.
He was one of only three people in the 39,237 attendance ejected during the
evening, the other two for anti-social behaviour.
A UEFA spokesperson has confirmed this morning that the incident was included
in the referee’s report. There is no suggestion Chelsea will face any action.
