Chelsea response to conflict of interest talk

Chelsea’s Champions League grouping with CSKA Moscow has been followed by a
reaction beyond the natural interest in Roman Abramovich’s club facing a team
from his country of origin.

大家對於切爾西與阿布家鄉的CSKA Moscow同組很感興趣.


Words from UEFA after the draw have suggested there may be cause to look into
the ownership of the two clubs. The European governing body as a matter of
course check that no individual has a controlling interest in more than one
team in its competition.

在歐冠小組抽籤後,UEFA表示要就兩個俱樂部擁有相同老闆作討論.歐足管理機構照例
調查在歐冠中有無個人擁有多於一個俱樂部的所有權.


Chelsea however is sure that any special investigation in this case is totally
unnecessary. Roman Abramovich’s club is Chelsea. Any connection he has with
CSKA Moscow is minimal to say the least and to explain this fact, Chelsea
Football Club has issued the following statement:

然而切爾西確信任何對此特別的研究討論都是不必要的.阿布的球隊是切爾西.阿布和
CSKA Moscow的聯繫都是子虛烏有,為了說明澄清此事,官方方面有以下聲明:


“Chelsea is certain that UEFA and any other clubs in the Champions League
should be completely unconcerned by this matter.

切爾西相信UEFA和其他進入歐冠小組賽的球隊應該不要把焦點放在這上面.


“The situation is very clear. Mr. Abramovich is the owner of Chelsea Football
Club while Sibneft, a company in which he is one of many shareholders is the
shirt sponsor of CSKA Moscow. Mr. Abramovich has no equity stake or any direct
financial interest in CSKA.”

這立場是很明確的..阿布是切爾西足球俱樂部的擁有人,而Sibneft只是CSKA Moscow的球衣
贊助商,阿布也只是Sibneft眾多股東之一.阿布沒有CSKA的實際股份,也沒有對CSKA做直接
的投資.

    冠軍杯分組中，藍軍分到上簽，和波爾圖、巴黎聖日耳曼以及莫斯科中央陸軍分
到一組，本來人們認為最大看點應該是穆里尼奧和波爾圖的再聚首，不過分組抽簽後
一個小時，阿布重回莫斯科成為最大焦點。歐足聯表示，他們將調查阿布和中央陸軍
是否有股份關系，如果有，那麼肯定將把其中之一趕出冠軍杯。歐足聯通信部長吉拉
德說：“我們做過調查，確認冠軍杯中沒有一個人擁有兩支俱樂部51％以上的股份，
不過認真檢查下去，我們認為可能有問題。如果調查結果顯示阿布先生同時控股切爾
西和中央陸軍，那麼他們就無法同時存在於冠軍杯，他必須決定讓其中之一退出。”


　　歐足聯的考慮不是空穴來風，去年3月，阿布控股的俄羅斯第五大集團西伯利亞
石油集團 Sibneft 就和中央陸軍簽訂了一份5400萬英鎊的超級贊助合同，從2003年
到2006年，每年贊助1800萬。這筆巨額經費也是中央陸軍可以大舉引進球星，從而殺
入冠軍杯小組賽的關鍵因素。要知道，曼聯這樣的超級俱樂部和沃達豐的球衣贊助合
同也只有3年2700萬，一般情況下俄超俱樂部根本不可能拿到兩倍於此的合同，而且
中央陸軍主席吉納是阿布的好友，Sibneft 的前控股大股東和現任大股東，正是他將
大量 Sibneft 股票轉讓給阿布，才讓切爾西老板拿到了控股權。因此歐足聯懷疑阿
布通過這筆錢悄悄地間接控股了中央陸軍。不過，這種涉及到大公司的商業合同幕後
交易很難調查清楚，何況還是在各種統計數據並不完全透明的莫斯科，很可能最終拿
不到任何實際證據。為了防止俄羅斯人權錢通天，吉拉德表示歐足聯的政策非常堅決
，“如果我們發現有人同時控制兩家俱樂部51％以上的股份，我們政策很清楚，他們
不能同時競爭。”


　　有趣的是，上一個受到歐足聯這項政策影響的正是切爾西和中央陸軍同組對手巴
黎聖日耳曼，2001年聖日耳曼殺進聯盟杯，恰好大股東 Canal＋也是另一支參賽隊、
瑞士日內瓦俱樂部的大股東，在歐足聯要求下，Canal＋ 迅速賣掉了日內瓦37％的股
份，最終才讓兩個俱樂部都獲得參賽資格。毫無疑問，如果真有問題，阿布肯定會學
習Canal＋，轉移中央陸軍的股份，落個皆大歡喜的資格。
