Pitch inspection at Newcastle - Game Goes Ahead

The result of the 10-30am pitch inspection at St. James' Park ahead of
this afternoon's FA Cup game, is that the game will go ahead.

There has been snow in the north-east, 3 inches lie across the pitch,
groundsmen have ensured the referee that it will be cleared. A further
pitch inspection may be required if heavy snow falls later today.
