Chelsea home to Scunthorpe in FA Cup

Chelsea has the chance to avenge our 1988 League Cup hammering when we take on
tiny Scunthorpe in the FA Cup third round on the first weekend of 2005.


In the old Second Division at the time, we lost 4-1 away in the first leg of
the second round and managed just a 2-2 draw at home in the second leg.


Scunthorpe are currently top of League Two.


The draw was drawn in the following order.


Arsenal v Stoke;

Swindon or Notts Co v Middlesbrough;

Man Utd v Exeter;

Plymouth v Everton;

Leicester v Blackpool;

Derby v Wigan;

Sunderland v Crystal Palace;

Wolves v Millwall;

Yeading v Newcastle;

Reading v Stockport or Swansea;

Birmingham v Leeds;

Hartlepool v Boston;

MK Dons v Peterborough;
