The Carling Cup third round draw has reinstated one of London’s most keenly
fought derbies with Chelsea hosting West Ham United.
The links between the two clubs are of course numerous with Frank Lampard,
Joe Cole and Glen Johnson having all come through the Upton Park academy and
the Hammers will be out for cup revenge having been knocked out of the FA Cup
by Chelsea as recently as 2002.
The game will be held at Stamford Bridge in the week commencing October 25th.
