Chelsea led twice away to Crystal Palace this morning, Saturday, but still
lost a fifth game in a row. Next Tuesday that run must be reversed in the FA
Youth Cup.
Filipe Morais, direct from a free-kick, and Michele Gallaccio, poaching, made
it 0-1 and 1-2, but Palace’s impressive wing play won the day in the end.
Goalkeeper James Russell pulled off an excellent penalty save, full length to
his left, when the score was 1-1. It was his second penalty save of the season.
On Tuesday Chelsea are at Colchester in Round Three of the Youth Cup. Kick-off
is 7.30pm and admission is ￡5.00 adults, ￡2.50 for 16 year olds and under,
plus 65 year olds and over.
