Jose Mourinho has been discussing facing Blackburn Rovers today without
either of last season's top scorers.
莫里尼奧將在失去上賽季球隊兩最佳射手的情況下迎戰流浪者。
The Chelsea manager ruled both Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard out of the
5.15pm kick-off during his Friday afternoon press conference but he
welcomed Andriy Shevchenko back into his squad for the first time this
season.
德羅巴和蘭帕德因傷無法出戰，但舍瓦將在本賽季第一次亮相。
Shevchenko, who has overcome back problems, provided plenty of evidence
that he was back up and running by scoring for Ukraine against world
champions Italy on Wednesday.

But Mourinho insists the absence of prolific pair Drogba and Lampard does
not heap extra responsibility on his available strikers alone.

'The responsibility is on the team,' he observed. 'We have to score more
than the opponent. First of all we shouldn't concede many because when
you don't have such power in attack, you shouldn't concede many because it
makes it difficult to win the game.

找麻煩。"
'There are many ways to score goals, it's a responsibility for everybody.
Shevchenko, Pizarro and Kalou are the strikers now but the pressure I put
on them is the team attitude. After that we work and wait for the good
consequences of that work, but I don't put pressure on my players to
score.'
"進球有很多方式，責任是大家的，舍瓦、皮薩羅、卡盧是我現有的前鋒，但我給他
們的壓力是團隊態度，其次才是成果，我並沒有給他們進球的壓力。"
If selected, Shevchenko will be hoping to find the net for the first time
for Chelsea since his goal away in Valencia in April, and for the first
time in the league since his thunderbolt against Sheffield United a month
earlier.
假使進球，將是舍瓦自四月以來第一次破門，而他上一個聯賽進球則要追溯到三月。
'If you put his injury at the end of last season, plus holiday, plus the
injury in this pre-season, yes it's a long time,' noted Mourinho, 'but I
think this is not the game of his life. It's just one more game where, if
he plays, the minutes he is on the pitch he has to show us the same thing
everybody else has to show.
"如你把傷病、假期、季前通通加起來，是的，這是段很長的時間，但只要上場，他
就必須跟大家一樣拼命。"
'I keep saying the same thing, every player is the same, it doesn't
matter who he is, and that's the only kind of responsibilities he has. He
has to work for the team, he has to give his best for the team, he has to
be positive, and it's not him, everybody. Especially the strikers now -
Pizarro, Kalou and Sheva - it's up to them to do the job.'

Mourinho revealed that he spent a good slice of international week
watching his players on duty for their countries, either by flicking
channels live or by recording games. He also analysed all Chelsea's games
in full once again, including pre-season matches.

He liked what he saw from Sheva in a Ukraine shirt.

'He worked very hard and played very well, not just because of the goal,
he produced for his team. He had defensive work, had intensity in his game
maybe for 80 minutes, and I was very happy with his performance.

'If he says I give him no explanations [why not selected for Chelsea's
most recent games], it's true. I give no explanations unless the players

decisions. The door of my office is always open for them in case they need
an explanation. He didn't ask me why, I didn't say why.'

Joe Cole, another yet to start a league game this season, was someone else
who caught Mourinho's eye midweek.

'I told him yesterday my feedback about his performance for England. I
said he was not man of the match but he gave a big contribution for his
team in both matches, and I think that's the objective of every player.

'To be man of the match is something occasional that happens as a
consequence of a good team performance. Yes, he was another player I was

Mourinho confirmed that Ricardo Carvalho has not recovered sufficiently
from injury for inclusion today but rated as possible a return for the
defender plus Drogba and Lampard for the Champions League in the coming
week.
老大也確認卡瓦略今天無法復出，但下週應該可以和德羅巴、蘭帕德一起回歸。
Reports suggest Blackburn Rovers need to confirm the availability of
strikers Roque Santa Cruz and Benni McCarthy plus midfielder Aaron Mokoena
after international action, but our opponents are expected to have a full
strength squad for this evening's game.
