John Terry ruled out for up to six weeks
John Terry will be sidelined for up to six weeks after breaking three bones
in his right foot.
蔣特理斷了三根骨頭，會休息6週。

Scans on Monday showed the Chelsea and England captain had fractured the
bones, including his third metatarsal, when he was tackled by Emmanuel Eboue
late in the first half of Chelsea's 1-0 Premier League loss to Arsenal on
Sunday. Terry left the Emirates Stadium on crutches after the incident.

"An X-ray taken in the Arsenal medical room straight after John left the
field didn't show the injury," Bryan English, the Chelsea doctor, said.
"However, as is usual with mid-foot injuries, the fractures were revealed
following scans, which were performed this afternoon.

"John will start his rehabilitation immediately with the Chelsea medical team
and we will continue to monitor his injury."

The injury will likely keep Terry out of England's friendly against
Switzerland at Wembley on February 6. That will be England's first game under
new coach Fabio Capello, who today refused to be drawn on whether he would
retain Terry as captain.
蔣特理會因受傷而不能打2月6日在瑞士的友誼賽，這會是英格蘭在卡佩羅手下的第一場
比賽，卡佩羅今天不願回答是否會留下特理當隊長。

David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard, Gary Neville,
Danny Murphy, Scott Parker, Ledley King and Emile Heskey are among other
England players who have been sidelined with metatarsal breaks in recent
years.
一干英格蘭球星近年來都曾因蹠骨受傷而不能比賽。

→ stranck:所以 Eboue 算斯文的了，那腳的威力是六個週。
