EVERTON IN THE SEMI-FINAL

The Carling Cup semi-final draw has paired Chelsea with Everton over two legs.

The ties will be played at home on January 8/9 and away on January 22/23.

The Barclays Premier League match away to Birmingham will now revert to
Saturday January 19 having provisionally moved to Monday January 21 for
television coverage.

It will be the third League Cup meeting between the clubs with Chelsea having
progressed on each previous occasion. The most recent was five seasons ago
when we won 4-1 at the Bridge.
