So Chris, tell us where you're from. I'm from Bristol. Allroighter! How long have you supported Chelsea and how did you come to choose the Blues? Supported Chelsea since I was 11 (around 11 years ago now). Came to support them through the family - my Dad, Uncle and Grandparents support Chelsea, they used to live in St. John's Wood. I was interested in football in general before I supported Chelsea, then I saw the light and became a fully fledged Chelsea fan. Tell us your favourite thing about Chelsea. Everything. Jose, the players, the ground, everything! It feels great when I go to matches - Chelsea are a special club. What's the best game you've ever seen? Chelsea or otherwise. Chelsea match I went to would be the Porto game this season. Chelsea game live on TV would be either the Arsenal Champion's League Quarter Final Second Leg last year, with Bridgey and that goal. Or the home Barcelona game this season - stuffing it up those Barca players made it feel even better after their crowing between the matches. The best non-Chelsea match I have been to would be England 2-0 Wales, which had a great atmosphere. Lampard scoring only made it sweeter. If you could change one thing about the club, what would it be? I would say the ticketing system. The organisation has been pants at times, it really does need looking at - and so do the prices! Releasing Charlton home tickets on the same day as Champion's League tickets was not clever, and left many fans queuing for hours and stranded on the telephone. Come on Chelsea, sort it out! Do you have any treasured Chelsea memorabilia you just couldn't bear to part with? The best piece I have is a Chelsea shirt (the 1998 one) with Zola's and Graeme Le Saux's signatures on them. I never met them (unfortunately), but my mate took my shirt in secret, then got someone he knew who used to work there to get Zola and Soxy to sign it, before getting it back and returning it to me. I was rather pleased! So how long have you been coming on CFCnet and how did you find us? No idea how long now, but I found the site from a fan mentioning it on another Chelsea fansite. If you could add, remove or change anything on CFCnet, what would it be? Can't think of anything - seems perfectly good as it is to me! Football aside, what characteristics would you say you've inherited from your parents? Stubborness, good with numbers and with computers from my Dad. Good sense of humour from my Mum. Oh, and looks *cough*. We bet you got into trouble at school! What was it for and what was the punishment? I was actually a good boy, but there was one incident where I was sent to the Headmaster's office. I was in the playground. Down one side was a small wall, about 2 foot tall. On top were some old, stone slabs. I simply lifted one up a little bit, as I was curious to see what was underneath (why, I don't know, but I was a little boy, and you're always curious at that age). The caretaker saw me, took me by the wrist and marched me up to the office. To this day I don't know why - seemed a very harsh reaction! You can take one book and one CD to a desert island. What are they and why? Book would be Lord of the Rings - fantastic book. Helps that it's long too, so you won't repeat yourself as many times. CD... there's a toughie. Probably one of my custom made albums, which has loads of rock on it. That or take my mp3 player with me. If you won £10 million in the lottery, what would you do with it? I couldn't even begin to imagine, other than give some to parents, other family and friends. And some to charity - I wouldn't need so much! Maybe a Season Ticket with Chelsea, and a nicer car. What will the inscription on your tombstone read? Bury me face down, my arse just sticking out of the ground. Inscription on the tombstone: 'Here's to you, Fergie'. I like it! Chris thanks for talking to us and keep those compilations coming! Toby Brown - 16 May 2005 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.121.193.66
