Cudicini - 9 (The hot competition from the arrival of Cech will put Cudicini
in his place, but instead of sweating, Cudicini will relish the challenge and
will soak up the pressure for his own benefit. Expect to see 20+ clean sheets)


Cech - 8 (The ambitious Cech has a good attitude and wants to claim the No 1
spot now. Cheeky that may sound; it is the only attitude to have if you are to
be the European No 1. Cech will not be the number 1 choice though this year,
unless injuries come into play. Expect to see him play in the League Cup.
This is going to be a transitional and learning curve experience for Cech.)


Macho - 6 (Won't get game this year. On the bench perhaps in the League Cup?
Did his contract stipulate that he has to play a handful of Premiership games
in 2 years?)


Johnson - 7 (Much as we all want to see Johnson being the No 1 right-back
choice after seeing some very impressive performances last year at a tender
age of 19, I cannot see Mourinho playing him more than 20 games. We have to
hope that Johnson can take this well and try and fight for his place back
against Mourinho's favourite ex-Porto player. It is not that I don't think he
is good enough,of course we know he is our best choice, but I have a feeling
Ferreira will be the No 1 choice.


Ferreira - 7 (Despite my prediction for him to be much ever-present in the team
, I am only going to award him 7 points as I have serious doubts about him.
Don't get me wrong, I hope to be proven wrong, but I am already a Glen Johnson
fan and so am biased! I am not sure whether he can adapt to the English game.
Be honest, how many Portuguese have we seen grace the English Game?


Gallas - 9 (Now that he knows he won't be messed about in playing the full-back
slot half a season, he will be ever-present (barring injuries) at the back.
Expect to see his best ever season. I expect him to perform better than Terry.)


Terry - 9 (Playing in the Euro 2004 and just being granted the Captaincy role
of Chelsea will spur on the man who many will say be the next Tony Adams.
Expect to see more bone crunching and brave last-ditch tackles form the
fearless Terry. Still a little suspect in certain positioning, which is why I
predict Gallas to be the better of the two.


Huth - 6 (The Weakest Link of the Chelsea 24-man squad. Much as I want him to
be come the next Chelsea great with his fearsome free kicks, the German lad
stills appear to be a little too raw for my liking. Every time he comes on the
pitch, I expect him to get sent-off in 10 minutes. This is the last thing we
need. I wished he were loaned out for a year to make his mistakes for an
opposition side be fore coming back matured!


Bridge - 9 (The best signing of last year. Steady and reliable. Expect to see
more of the same old Wayne Bridge. Unfortunately for Bridge, Cole has upped
his England performances just when Bridge looked to take over.)


Babayaro - 6 (The 2nd weakest link. Despite being the current longest serving
player, Baba has dropped in his performances and has struggled to be consistent
. However, he is an ideal replacement for Bridge and never complains aboutnot
getting many games)


Lampard - 9 (Almost tempted to give him a 10. But we cannot expect to him
become any better apart from gaining more experience. Earmarked by many top
European clubs as the man they fear. Expect to see him get 10+ goals from
Midfield.)


Makelele - 6 (I have a feeling that this is going to be a horrible season for
him. I always pick one Chelsea player a year who I think is going to have a
nightmare. Claude gets my vote this year. He will start in the line-up at the
beginning of the season but will find himself on the bench before Xmas as
Parker, Tiago or Smertin takes over.


Parker - 8 (If anyone is going to have a make-or-break season, it will be
Parker. There is no one else who is a bigger Parker fan than me. I am so
frustrated that Ranieri didn't play him in the centre. I long for the
Parker-Lampard partnership. If Parker gets his chance with Lampard I will
grant him a 9, but if he gets played on the right side or the bench, I will
give him 7. So 8 is a good average.)


Tiago - 7 (I think he will be incredible in 3 years time, so hopefully he
re-signs for Chelsea. He will be learning his trade this year, but expect to
see him play a few times this year. Not sure whether he play as defensive or
attacking, that will be interesting as he can do both. A very versatile player.
)


Smertin - 7 (If anyone is going to run around 100% all 90 minutes, he is your
man, although he is nearing 30! Not a skilful player or someone to make you
drool, but he wins the ball a lot and he frustrates the opposition play. Like
Tiago, he is a versatile player. Choices choices.)


Joe Cole - 8 (I think this will be his best season for Chelsea. More games for
sure. He will still miss many shots on goal, but that will be compensated for
his neat flicks and set-ups and his vision this year. Mourinho will get the
best out of him. He will be following Lampard path in his progression to
England.)


Robben - 9 (I just can't wait for him to play and he is only 20! He is the best
young Dutch export, not Van Persie or Van Meydes. Already plays like a 28 year
old world class international. Expect to see many pin-points crosses and neat
passes. We will not miss Gronkjaer).


Duff - 10 (If the man doesn't get injured he will be the best player for
Chelsea.He has the right people to be surrounded him when it comes to attacking
(Mutu, Kezman, Drogba). I expect him to get 10-15 goals if he gets a good run
in the team. I think we have yet to see the man!


Gudjohnsen - 9 (Say no more. It will be a 9. He is the least likely of the lot
to lose the ball and is the most unselfish player. He rather help others score
than himself. Wenger and Fergie have tried to pry him away, but he is a blue
forever now. Mourinho already loves him and expect to see him a lot this year).



Mutu - 7 (I think Mutu can easily get 8 or 9 points, but he won't get a good
run in the game with Guddy, Kezzy and Droggy all preferred to him. Because of
that, he will play inconsistently and get frustrated. It's a shame as I really
do think he can be one of the best in the world).


Kezman - 9.5 ( Just beaten by Duff. I already expect him to get 30+ goals if
hegets a good run. Flawless. A predator that we have missed since Kerry Dixon.
Expect only good things from him. It's Kezmania time!).


Drogba - 8 (I don't think he will live up to his price tag. But who can? I not
saying he will be a flop, of course not. But he will only get 15 goals. Yes
only! He will be in the shadow of Kezman and he won't play every week. But he
will not disappoint us and will be a great signing. It is not his fault that
he is priced at ￡24m.)

衰尾王是馬克來來...這有點令我驚訝,不過新賽季目前為止.都沒看到馬克來來的消息

Macho 是哪一位呀? 很陌生, 休斯要加油了, 希望本賽季在強將圍繞之下能突飛猛進

穆圖麻...不知道為什麼,自從凱子曼來,還沒打牛津那場熱身賽之前,甚至DD還沒來之前

國外球迷猜測前鋒陣容,幾乎有八成都把他當做第四選擇,也沒人提出異議......

也許上賽季下半段真的讓球迷"沒信心"吧,所以把期望寄託在新同學身上

總的來說, 都很樂觀, 大家等著瞧吧!! COME ON YOU BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!
